Robert W. Bannon II

Robert is a partner in the firm's White Plains office and has over 15 years of experience in the construction industry. He represents a wide variety of clients, including owners, developers, construction managers, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and design professionals, at all stages of a construction project. Robert strives to provide sophisticated end-to-end guidance to his clients for both residential and commercial projects.

Robert advises clients during contract execution and project performance phases of projects to help manage labor and compliance issues, resolve disputes or reserve rights for later dispute resolution. Robert's litigation experience includes a variety of matters within the construction industry including defaults and terminations, delay and disruption claims, change-order and extra work claims, public bidding challenges, and construction defect cases. Additionally, he has successfully represented clients in a variety of alternate dispute resolution proceedings including successfully mediating large scale claims. Robert's experience extends to insurance and risk management issues including indemnification and additional insurance specific to construction projects. Should a dispute be unavoidable, Robert has an deep understanding of the lien law and other collection related mechanisms in both New York and New Jersey.

Prior to joining the firm, Robert was a partner with a boutique construction law firm, where he litigated all types of complex residential and commercial construction disputes. Throughout his practice, Robert has demonstrated his legal skills by counseling his clients through every phase of the design and construction process and having obtained favorable results for his client in litigation, arbitration, and mediation.

Robert has been married for over 15 years and has four daughters. Outside of work, he enjoys coaching and watching his daughters play sports, playing tennis and golf, and traveling with his family.
