Biography
Carly is an Associate in the firm's Albany office. She assists clients in a broad range of litigation matters and draws upon her experience with New York's highest court to provide thoughtful legal analysis and strategic advocacy.
Prior to joining the firm, Carly served as a Senior Court Attorney with the New York State Court of Appeals. As a member of the Court's Central Legal Research Staff, she researched and analyzed complex civil and jurisdictional issues, gaining valuable experience in legal research, writing, and appellate practice.
Carly earned her J.D. from the City University of New York (CUNY) School of Law in 2024. During law school, she participated in CUNY's Mediation Clinic, served as a summer associate at a boutique New York City law firm, interned with the Attorney Grievance Committee for the Appellate Division, First Judicial Department, and served as a Senior Staff Editor of the CUNY Law Review.
Before pursuing a legal career, Carly held positions with arts and community-based nonprofit organizations in New York City and Philadelphia. She earned her bachelor's degree in Theater and Communications, with a minor in French, from Ursinus College. Her background in the arts enhances her ability to communicate effectively, analyze complex issues, and develop persuasive advocacy for clients.
Outside of the office, Carly enjoys reading, creative writing, yoga, and cheering on her hometown Philadelphia sports teams. She is also an avid film enthusiast, particularly of the horror genre.
