Joe Kavesh is a partner in the firm’s Newark, New Jersey and White Plains, New York offices. He concentrates his practice in the areas of general litigation, construction and construction defect, trucking and transportation, and risk reduction and loss avoidance. 

Prior to joining Gerber Ciano, Joe was a partner at an AM Law 100 firm where he represented homeowners and policyholders in general liability and commercial matters. Joe has represented the world’s largest home improvement retailer in federal and state court proceedings, and has counseled national and international insurers in high exposure trials. 

Away from the courtroom, Joe is an accomplished distance runner, having completed numerous half marathons in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Joe is a Wordle and crossword buff, and avid aficionado of classic rock music. Joe is a long-suffering fan of the Philadelphia Flyers and Miami Dolphins. He is grateful for the joys of raising 3 wonderful sons.
