Biography
Samantha focuses her practice on premises liability, motor vehicle, and general liability defense matters, as well as professional liability and employment‑related claims. Her practice also includes handling underinsured/uninsured motorist claims. Her experience includes handling sexual abuse (SAM) claims, and matters arising under professional lines, including cases before the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities (CHRO).
Samantha has developed significant experience across all phases of litigation, from pre-suit investigation through trial. She routinely manages cases through pleadings, discovery, depositions, court conferences, and oral arguments, and independently handles settlement negotiations. She is skilled in both taking and defending depositions and has played an active role in preparing cases for resolution at every stage. She has experience retaining and collaborating with experts throughout discovery and trial preparation.
She has second-chaired for both trials and arbitrations and played an integral role in developing trial strategy. Her experience has included preparing fact and expert witnesses, handling pretrial motion practice on evidentiary issues, developing direct and cross examinations, and supporting day to day trial management.
In addition to her practice, Samantha is actively involved in the Connecticut Defense Lawyers Association, where she serves as Vice Chair of the 2026 Annual Spring Meeting. In this leadership role, she serves as the liaison to event vendors and coordinates sponsorships supporting the program, which includes a full day of expert panel presentations offering CLE credit to association members.
Samantha earned her Juris Doctor from Quinnipiac University School of Law. Outside of her legal practice, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
