Biography
Marissa brings over twelve years of experience advising U.S. and London insurers on complex, high-exposure coverage disputes across a broad range of commercial and professional liability lines. Her practice includes directors and officers liability, cyber coverage, financial institutions, errors and omissions, and other professional liability policies.
She has extensive experience handling underlying claims involving securities class actions, shareholder derivative suits, SPAC transactions, private equity disputes, cybersecurity and data privacy matters, regulatory investigations, as well as bankruptcy and insolvency issues arising in the insurance context.
Marissa represents insurers throughout the full lifecycle of a claim—from initial coverage evaluation and strategic advisory through dispute resolution and litigation in both federal and state courts. She also provides litigation monitoring and strategic guidance in matters involving significant exposure and complex risk.
