Ariana Monson

Ariana Monson is a member of the firm's Insurance Solutions Practice Group, where she provides strategic, results-oriented representation in insurance coverage analysis and litigation. Ariana manages a sophisticated caseload involving both personal and commercial lines and regularly handles complex coverage issues, including uninsured and underinsured motorist claims, fire loss investigations, marine and boating accidents, first-party property losses, and Special Investigations Unit (SIU) matters. 

Ariana’s practice spans both pre-suit and litigated coverage disputes. She represents insurers in declaratory judgment actions and defends against extracontractual claims, including bad faith and unfair trade practices claims. She also has experience insurers in complex bad faith litigation and other high-exposure coverage disputes. Her coverage practice further includes risk transfer and indemnification matters arising from contractual relationships. 

In addition to her coverage work, Ariana has experience defending individuals and corporations in a wide range of civil matters, including breach of contract claims, automobile accidents, premises liability claims, horseback riding accidents, and property-related disputes. She handles all phases of litigation, from pre-suit investigation through discovery and motion practice, and has experience conducting and defending depositions and working closely with expert witnesses. 

Ariana is a member of the Connecticut Defense Lawyers Association and has moderated a panel discussion, as well as assisted with additional programming. Outside of her practice, she is active in the local art community and enjoys oil and acrylic painting. In her free time, Ariana enjoys hiking, exercising, traveling, and spending time with her family, friends, and her pets.
