Thomas focuses his practice on defending property owners, general contractors, and local businesses in commercial litigation, construction, and general liability matters. His experience includes handling a wide range of business disputes involving contract and indemnification, New York Labor Law and construction defects, premises liability, products liability, negligent supervision and training allegations, and general negligence. Thomas also has experience defending villages, towns, cities, and other municipalities in state and federal court in civil rights and constitutional matters, including claims for excessive force, false imprisonment, and malicious prosecution, as well as personal injury matters.
As a native of the southern Adirondacks, Thomas is a dedicated outdoorsman, enjoying hiking in the Adirondack peaks and exploring unknown trails. Thomas loves spending time outdoors with his wife and two children hiking and visiting historical sites and museums. Thomas is an avid lover of revolutionary war history, colonial history, government, and the founding of America.

Represented a Village in New York, and its insurer in a Section 1983 action asserting claims of First and Fourteenth Amendment violations against the Village for First Amendment Retaliation, Equal Protection, and Due Process.
Represented an upstate New York city involving a FOIL request for large numbers of documents concerning employee disciplinary records, complaints, and allegations of employee misconduct.
Represented a global construction firm and its liability insurer involving claims under New York State Labor Law 200, 240(1), and 241(6) for a catastrophic personal injury to an excavation worker in a trench on a large construction project.
Represented a large New York Metropolitan Area equipment servicer in a subrogation claim involving fire damage to the building's elevator system and intercom systems, as well as damage to the individual tenants units and personal property.
