Kristin’s practice is primarily focused on New York State and Federal litigation in the courts of New York. The main focus of her legal practice is primarily civil litigation, including medical malpractice, general liability defense, municipal defense and litigation, premises liability and federal litigation. She has represented numerous insurance carriers, healthcare providers, hospitals, community health care centers and municipalities in arbitrations, mediations and hearings. She is involved in all aspects of civil litigation from the inception of the suit through discovery proceedings and case resolution.

Prior to pursuing a career in private practice, Kristin was an Assistant Town Attorney for the largest municipality in Long Island. Through her time there, she has gained extensive knowledge as to municipal law and land use and zoning. Kristin is also well versed in all phases of contract negotiations, including complex commercial transactions and any disputes which may arise from leases, mortgages, land use and zoning applications and construction projects. She has an experienced background in all aspects of land use and zoning for both commercial and residential properties, including commercial land use applications and subdivisions.

Outside of the courtroom, Kristin is an avid equestrian with a passion and love for her rescue animals. As a lifelong resident of Long Island, she has sat on the board of numerous not for profit organizations, including a 9/11 firefighter organization that has fought to ensure families of those who risked their lives in 9/11 recovery are afforded adequate health care and an animal welfare organization that fights for more stringent animal abuse laws and punishment.
