Kris has practiced civil litigation for 10 years handling matters through pre-litigation, pleadings, discovery, trial, and appellate advocacy on topics including insurance law, premises liability, contract law, construction site law, title 59, products liability, automobile negligence, workers’ compensation, and civil procedure. His advocacy has led to multiple appearances before the New Jersey Appellate Division and an appearance before the New Jersey Supreme Court.

From 2021-2022, Kris was a fellow of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Leadership Academy, a highly selective group of up-and-coming leaders in the legal profession, of which he is now an alumnus.

Kris both wrote the legal briefs and oral arguments for two successful appeals before the New Jersey Appellate Division: Ixcoy v. Mohosin, DOCKET NO. A-4287-15T1 (2017) and Shields v. Ramslee Motors, DOCKET NO. A-2894-16T1 (2018), the latter of which was later appealed to the New Jersey Supreme Court where Kris continued his written and oral advocacy.

Kris received his law degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law cum laude. He also received honors distinction in his Legal Research & Writing, Appellate Advocacy, and Criminal Prosecution Clinic classes. While attending law school, Kris created and Advanced Copyright Seminar with his Copyright professor where he developed his own course of independent study in the field of international copyright law. He also served as a research assistant in law school. He has bachelor degrees in both English: Creative Writing and Political Science.

Outside of the practice of law, Kris has embedded himself in his local community. He was elected to the Fair Lawn Borough Council in 2019 where he currently serves as Deputy Mayor. He is also very involved as a volunteer youth wrestling and football coach. A lifelong musician, Kris enjoys writing and playing music for multiple instruments.
