Biography

Erin focuses her practice defending prominent corporations, municipalities, and retailers in a range of civil liability claims including construction, premises liability, and property damage.  She has years practicing in both Federal Court as well as New York State Courts.  Erin has defended clients through all phases of litigation from discovery, to trials and appeals.  She has briefed appeals in both the First Department and Second Department of the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division.    

Erin’s past experience in the criminal court system, specifically the Office of the Special Narcotics Prosecutor, has made her proficient in the multifaceted layers of litigation, including gathering evidence, conducting complex investigations, and researching various legal issues.  This assists her in defending  clients not only in civil litigation matters, but also in federal court litigation involving constitutional violations and 42. U.S.C. Section 1983 actions.  Erin has also worked in an operations firm where she handled claims analysis for a multi-billion-dollar environmental fund, which included oversight of internal protocol compliance. Through this experience, Erin has gained an appreciation of the nuances and intricacies of claims analysis thereby giving her a unique perspective when advocating for clients.  This has allowed Erin to recognize the importance of developing a meaningful relationship with clients and understanding each client’s individual needs.  

During her tenure at New York Law School, Erin was a member of the Mock Trial Team and participated in various competitions across the country.  She was the recipient of various awards during her time on the Mock Trial Team and as a member of the Executive Board.  

Erin loves spending time with her two kids at the beach.  She enjoys traveling and spending her free time exercising.
